Okay, time is going by a little fast, I just realized I missed posting yesterday!! So, today I once again have two thanks to give. Well first I am thankful for my faith in God, a saving faith that I know that I will go to heaven someday because I have trusted Jesus as my Saviour and He lives in my heart and will never leave me because He has promised that in Deuteronomy 31:6 -“Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” and in Hebrews 13:5 -6 “Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, because God has said, Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. So we can say with confidence, The Lord is my helper: I will not be afraid, What can man do to me?” The second thing today I am thankful for is hope in God. We cannot possibly put all our hope in man, government, or possessions, but we can always hope in God. God cares about us, He watches closely over each person. Through Him we can find rest in spite of the catastrophes that harass our world. He offers us a place to stand, and hope, even in an apparently lost world. He offers a new beginning to those of us who trust in Him. I am thankful that God never turned me down when I went to Him for salvation and He is always there for me now, even in the hard times I can count on God for help and hope.

Well, I am making my grocery list today and trying to make a plan for Thanksgiving Dinner, I am not real good at making menu plans, I want to and think about it often but for some reason I never can figure out exactly where to start. So any ideas would be great! I read lots of Menu Plan Mondays that people put out but I don’t know the strategy behind doing it myself.  I generally look in the fridge and think “what can I make for dinner tonight” and I tend to do that about an hour before dinner. I know, not good, most of the time I forget to take something out of the freezer before hand so I have to use the microwave to thaw something out, and I HATE using the microwave! I would like to plan for a month because I generally shop for the month, but I need to think about Thanksgiving too this time. I am trying to eat healthier too, so I have to take that into consideration. I like making lists but that’s about as far as I get. I love looking at all the recipes “I want to try” and plan on trying but never doing cause I have no plan. Ugh! Well anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, that would be great, and I would very much appreciate them. Have a great day!
